36145, Modular to non modular?

Ok this seems to me to be a very easy swap.
The modular clutch is one unit (obviously) just the clutch itself and the drive plate.
The non modular clutch is the same but not riveted together and the flywheel replaces the drive plate.
So all I need is a non modular clutch and a flywheel right?
From my observations the non modular clutch is the exact same as the modular only the modular is riveted together and doesn’t come into contact w/ a flywheel
Am I missing anything?

I have not seen both side by side. The modular(Proactive Stage 2) I bought looked to be the exact size as my stock one. The flywheel was actually bolted together and not riveted like my stock one.
The whole modular unit weighed approx. 22 lbs. This is pretty damn light.
Since the nonmodular flywheel cannot actually bolt up to a modular clutch, I assume the design is different than a modular flywheel. In comparison, a stock 4G63 flywheel is heavy as hell. It was almost as heavy as my whole modular clutch assembly.

I run the Non-modular clutch setup. Has worked very well for me and is a lot cheaper when coming to replacement time. All you'll have to do it is order the 95 Neon Pressure Plate, Disk and Throw-Out bearing of course, then just find a 95 Neon Flywheel in the bone yard or order a light weight new one ;-).

remember u need to bolts to mount it and also another things to consider the neon non modular isa bigger diameter clutch meaning beter and more life =) not much but it is bigger im working ona ceramic disk package 4 or 6 puck with cushion for the non modular setup for under 150$
8 bolts to mount to engine(crank) and 6 for the pressure plate

Cheaper repair/replacement cost is basically why I am going to switch to the non modular clutch. I went through the CM stage 4 four puck disk in like 12k miles. It’s going to get pricy if I can’t get them to last longer and that’s not likely because I will be at the track even more this next season chasing down that 11 second time slip. :-)
It may be a little heavier but it won’t be by much using a light weight flywheel.
