will it wurk? i know the 95's are OBD1 and 96+ is OBDII. but it should still turn on right? help! thnx

I believe that the 95's have different harnesses to some components, so I'd imagine that some of the plugs might be a little different too. Also OBD I usually won't work for OBD II b/c there is extra emission crap that goes along with it, like an extra O2 sensor. Ot would seem ike it would be more trouble than it's worth to try to get it to work.

'97-'99 have a lower and upper connection on the harness and ECU, I believe. A '95 ECU has only 1 big connection for the harness to the ECU.

yeah i did a little research on turning my 95 into OBDII so i could use howell's ECU for a 97. won't work

Should work if you convert the harness and the sensors. It is doable, just not easy. Also need to have the rear exhaust pipe modified (have an O2 sensor bung welded in). The thermostat housing may be different, but the rest of the stuff should accept the later sensors...
