my 98rs has about 75k miles and the plugs and wires have never been replaced to my knowledge. What is the best performance plug i can get and what aftermarket wires should i most look at? are they all relitively the same? should i go for iridium? Thanks alot for your help

definately get the 8.5mm magnecore wires. i got that and the NGK Iridium IX, and the car all around sounded more smooth. my plugs were almost shot, as soon as i started the car i was like, "heyy i like the sound of that!"

as far as plugs. go with NGK bkr5e-11's. they are the same as stock but 1 range hotter. cost about 5 bucks. wires won't make a huge difference. most of them use the same cores till you get into 9-10mm. pick a pretty color ;)

Go with the 5 dollar NGK's or if you have the money get the new iridium sparks, they cost signifcantly more but worth it from what I understand. Do NOT buy platinums. They have a cooler sparks (that's what make them last longer) and thus do not burn all the fuel they could, thus reducing horsepower somewhat.

Denso iridiums and 8.5mm magnecores. That's what Ive got. No complaints whatsoever. Smooth idle and acceleration.
