A whole shitload of work. I think there are a couple completed, i may be mistaken, i may not, dont know. But I know that there are new problems with it being posted quite often, and I would like to see a video of your 14.6 second run please, take one. Or post the slips plz.

I agree. Kinda fast.. But plenty of room to go FASTER.

not fast for a stage 3 turbo. but for a NA eclipse, it's faster than anything on this board at least. I guess that's why Matt needs proof

u need a stratus caravan sebring block etc, need to modify right side engine mount ps and a/c brackets lower radiator pipe, cam angle sensor oil pan, may have some valve cover fitament problems remove balance shafts n 2.4 most likly more fuel ie afc?

search for 2.4 stuff here on the board and then hit neons.org they are the 2.4 gods

HEY GUYS USE UR HEADS... The reason it would be fast is..... good answer its n/a. You didnt catch that after he said that people checked to see if he was running nos. Would people be that interested if he was turbo running a 14.6, no, they would be seeing what the hell was wrong with his tuning and checking his compression to make sure his cylinders are still intact.


AND YES, in the post about the new 15.4 i believe it was time by the vx100 guy or soemthin like that, he claimed to have his 14.6 N/A car, and you take your slips, you scan your slips, you post the picture of it... then when nobody believes you still, you take a video cam to the track and prove

i agree i had the same problem on my home dsm form
no one there belived me and it started a fight they said that a neon with a eclipse body kit wont go that fast and so i sent slips and they stll didnt belive it but then some of them were at a race and made sure i took the nos bottle out when i ran 14.6 and now they know but we still dont get along. i really dont want that to happen here i am new to the form and i thought it would be diffrent people with the same 420a as me and they would know . i will send a 14.6 slip and when i do will you belive me. a good driver and good parts will give you a 14 sec eclipse .

I have no problem with believing you, I believe that there is alot of potential in our cars that has to be let out, and nobody has really tried to fully get to it. I think that with some higher compression, drag cams, the proper bolt ons, and proper tuning, we could KILL the current record, just sayin after seeing a race to beat 15.5 for such a long time, a person coming on running a 14.6 is not that easy to swallow
