35180, AEM Cold Air Question Posted by MY1997TALON, Oct-17-02 02:26 PM
I have the AEM Cold Air, and the other day I was driving in a very hard rain, when I entered a parking lot and hit a large spot of water , the car died? I tried to restart it but it would not start. I waited 2 hours and tried again and it started. Should I worry about any future problems? I filled up with gas and added a bottle of STP Water Remover.
Thanks

you are lucky you didnt break anything. if your car dies after driving thru water w/ a cold air, you never start it. i almost blew the motor in my old mustang that way. most likely you are out of harms way. im sure you have nothing to worry about. later chris

Agreed.... if your car is running fine now you are probably ok. You would know it if you broke something
