I have a dynomax muffler on my car, and I had always heard that if you sprayed water in a muffler that has fiberglass in it, then it would make it louder. Anyway, the other night I did that, and it seems like when my car sits and idles it constantly puts out clean white smoke?! I put my hand over the exhaust tip, and no oil or anything was on it, and the smoke didn't have a scent to it.

It has been pretty well freezing ever since that night, and I was wondering if water froze in it, and it is just taking a while to burn it out, or if I messed something up.

The car runs normal, but I just had that on my mind, and i thought that I would see what you guys thought about that.

Water rusts away the inside which gets rid of the sound deadening material making the muffler louder.
