34880, Changing The tranny fluid.... Posted by UNSpooled95GS, Oct-15-02 02:01 PM
I picked up 3qts of transmission fluid from Satan today (i'm 5-speed) and i was wondering if i got the right stuff. The bottle reads (Mitsubishi Motors Manual Transmission fluid, For use in NV-T350 (A578) transaxles.) Is this the right fluid? Also how do i get to the fill plug for the transmission.Sorry if these questions have already been asked but i searched and couldn't find anything.Thanks........

Best way to see it is by taking off the drivers side tire, look just above and to the right of the axle. There is a plastic plug looking thing...

yep, you got the right stuff, return 1 bottle though unless you need it, the manual transaxle holds 2.1 quarts, and when you drain the tranny, your not gonna get every little bit out anyways, so putting 2 complete quarts in the tranny will definately fill it up... unless you want a spare bottle at hand that is.

Is the drain plug near the fill plug?
