34821, Engine starving for air????
Posted by REV_GSlow, Oct-14-02 12:07 PM
Well after all my problems with hesitation, i finally figure one little thing out. I took the fuse out of my box under the hood, and pressed the ac button, mysteriously my car feels 100% better. I still have a slight bit of hesitation, but not at much as before. This means my ac fan is coming on, which pushes more air into the motor thus making the car run normal. What would make my engine run like this?

hey this is wierd... but i think you might have solved my bad idle problem!

my car idles low and rough UNLESS ive just gotten off the highway, the car is cool, or the a/c is on....hmm...think it has somthing to do with heat?

anyone have any ideas why this would happen?

You could try doing the fan wiring mod so when the normal radiator (I think its a radiator) fan comes on, the back up fan comes on too (it usually only comes on when the A/C is turned on). This might solve the problem.
