well i just wanted 2 ask if its normal to be reving at 4-5000 RPMS and only be at 20 miles per hour o and this is in first gear.also i was wondering if someone can explain to me what a blown or messed up tranny feels and or hears like.you see this is my first time owneing a car with a manual tranny.thanx y'all.

That's normal. i hit about 20mph at 4 grand.

If it's messed up, dude, you'll know. it's not really one of those things that can be messed up and you not know about it.

yeah this car is my first to be a stick and i have been parinoid of everything that the car does or every weird sound. i accually thought that i was having tranny problems myself, and i sort of still think i do at times. i ended up taking it to someone and he said that things were ok. i think it is normal to be at 4k rpm in first going about 20. these cars rev fast especially in first. im always seeming to get my rpms up there when taking off. i have yet to red line, but i have been somewhat close.

hehhe thanx guys my paranoia has seemed to disapeared.also i took it for some more test runs and notice when i got close to redline on 1st. gear then shifted to 2nd.kinda quickly while accelerating i seemed to fly!!!!i just quit being scared man.it feels awsome!!!speed=rush=big fucking grin.hehhehhe!yup.peace.o yeah im droppin it like its hot...
