I wanna get some gauges for my non turbo rs, but don't know what do get. I know I want to get an oil gauge, but what else?

also, is there a good brand that makes reliable gauges? how much should I expect to pay? and where should I order them from?

Air/fuel ratio guage. Not much else is really too critical until you boost it.

Autometer, greddy make gauges, among others. I got mine from summit racing, they were damn quick. And you don't NEED any gauges for your RS. If you boost you will need an a/f (although the blinky light one isn't very accurate), a boost gauge, and an EGT gauge. Fuel pressure is a good idea too. I don't feel that an oil pressure gauge is necessary but it's not a bad idea.

To the contrary, I feel that the oil pressure gauge is the most necessary gauge in a 420a powered car. I have lost 2 of these suckers so far to spun bearings. The 420a seems more sensitive to oil pressure in the bottom end then most other motors, so I would get an oil pressure gauge first.

I say the oil pressure auge is one of the most important gauges in ANY car. It's going to be a good indication of problems starting. And you can catch them before they cause a big problem. Next in line are A/F and EGT, once you start tuning.
