ook well my car starting thing is getting worse and i need to know how to fix it this is what happenes.. when i first start my car and let it idle for a sec. then i give it gas the engine stalls.. every light possible turns on for like 2 sec then goes off i have no idea what it is and it is getting much worse. i was playing with it alittle tonight and when i would hit the gas the car was going to die however if i just keep given it gas for like 10sec. i would not die and it sounded like something would kick in and the engine would not stall... anyone know what it is??? its a 97 with only a aem cold air
could it be one of the obd or whatever they are called i have no clue???

same thing happened to me, it just started one day and went away the next, only thing I did was redid my connection to battery and changed the oil

I try that a few weeks ago did not help anyone else got any ideas???

are you getting a cel? if so do the key dance and see what codes it's throwing. yes you're car is obd2.

i do not get any CEL if i do it comes on for like 3 sec before the car dies then goes away
