34396, SRS light Posted by DSMRoadster, Oct-07-02 04:12 PM
For some reason my back up lights blew out and couldn't find how to fix it. Well any way my safety restraint system (SRS) light won't go away. It's on all the time.

Check the fuse for the reverse lights. It is probabally blown. Also, this is SUPPOSED to take away the SRS light when you change it too, but I don't know if it actually will. My SRS light is still on because I took the airbags out when I painted the dash. My reverse lights work. If this works, let me know so I can give it a shot. The shop tried clearing the SRS light but they said they can't get into it with the ODB-II reader and told me to take it to a dealer.

It's probably just me, but I can't seem to find the fuse for the reverse lights.

Under the dash on the drivers side is where I think it is. This happened to me too and I replaced the fuse and it went away. I think its on the top row of the fuses.
