3413, Will thicker Head gasket slow my car down if NA Posted by magnus, Jun-14-01 01:47 PM Im getting a thicker hg so i can run higher boost when i go turbo...but my car will still be NA for about 3 months with the thicker gasket on.....Will i notice a big difference in speed/ performance cause i will have lower compression with out a turbo???????? | |

3415, Ya but not much... Posted by Skrilla, Jun-15-01 08:23 PM ...for every point is about +/-4%. So at 8.6:1 compression you are at 134.4HP. I would say do it, go with the lower compression (thicker gasket) and just wait for your turbo. This is the best way without having to redo the HG | |
