Sometimes my car just wont start. It usually happens after a long drive or on a hot day. The car just doesnt crank over, but it will pop start. I have no idea what the problem could be. Somone please help me

do you press the gas when you start it up? if not try that

I had a similar problem and it was my battery terminals, they were all corroded.

Similar problem here. Found it to be the starter relay. What's that, everyone may ask? Hehehe, well in the center console, behind the radio, there are two relays. One is the starter and one is the power locks. Mine was working to the point where it would work after everything was cool. I had replaced the battery, cables, and starter, just to find out it was that damn relay. It worked sometimes like I said then it wouldn't work at all until like 3-4 hours later when the car was completely cooled. I looked all over the place for this relay and I could only find it at the dealer for 60 bucks, cuz it comes from japan (damnit!!) The part number is on the relay so u can use that number at the dealer. They say it's a power relay and that's all they know. I had asked for a starter relay and they wanted to give me the two firewall boxes for the fuel pump. So I took with me the wiring diagram i had gotten from MSD and showed them. They were like amazed and wondering where i had got my sources, but oh well. To make a long story short, try that!

The part number is: MB398030

This is known as a power relay at the dealer, but like i said little did the mitsu tech guys there know that this is a starter relay. And just as a reminder, this part is more expensive at the chrysler dealer than mitsu!

Oh, and just incase, i didn't tell you, this relay is the one on the left under the radio in the center console. U need to remove the radio to get to it the way it's mounted. Since I installed my radio, it normally takes about 5 minutes to get everything out of the way to get the relay.
