how much did you guys get your blocks for? I found a complete motor for 300 if I go and pull it. Problem is that I'm broke. Should I use leftover student loans and get it or just wait until I get what I need, which is some brackets and a short block?

If the head is in good shape you could probably make most of that 300 bucks back.
