... you know what they say "There are no stupid questions, only stupid people." So with that out of the way... "What is a TORQUE PLATE? " I know it has something to do with engine building, but i cant remember exactly what it is.... C'mon guys, i know it's simple but i appear to be having a brain fart today.

the use of a torque plate during the bore and hone process is to ensure that the cylinder bores are bored and honed with the distortion that is induced due to the torquing of cylinder head bolts.
