FIRST OF ALL MUCH RESPECT TO YOU GUYS ON THE FORUM...NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEM WITH MY STAR STAGE 2 ECLISPE.HERES MY QUESTON MY CAR IS GETTING WORSE EVERY DAY I DRIVE IT IT IS IDLING ERRACTLY AND WHEN I STEP ON THE GAS IT STUMBLES. IT GETS WORSE. I HAVE DONE ALL MAINTENCE TO IT AND I DONT DOG IT OUT. I DID THE THROTTLE BODY CLEANING TO THE ENGINE (MOPAR CCC).THAT WAS THE LAST THING I DID BEFORE THIS STARTED.COULD IT BE THE O2 SENSOR IS GOING BAD IT STARTS TO STUMBLE IDLE BAD AFTER IT WARMS UP .I CLEANED THE SPARK PLUGS (TURBO PLUGS) CLEANED THE AIR INTAKE. HOPPING IT WOULD GO AWAY.BUT IT IS SLOWLY GETTING WORSE.I HAVE AIR/FUEL GAUGE I NOTICED THE LITES DONT GO BACK AND FORTHE LIKE THEY USED TO WHEN I FIRST INSTALLED IT. MY CAR IS STUMBLING VERY BAD BUT THE CHECK ENGINE LITE HAS NOT COME ON YET .I PUT IN 2 BOTTLES OF STP COMPLETE FUEL SYSTM CLEANER IN THE TANK THAT MADE IT RUN FINE UNTILL IT RAN OUT THE THE PROBLEM CAME BACK .THIS HOPEFULLY MY FIRST AND LAST POST I REALLY NEED YOUR INPUT ON THIS I DONT WANT TO TAKE IT TO SATAN.THANKS...

First off -- and this is a touch point -- please don't use all caps. Second off -- change your fuel filter lately??? Best guess for you with no other data. Satan might not want to touch your car with a Star Stage 2 on it... as far as the A/F meter not bouncing back and forth -- what does it do?? No signal -- change your 02 sensor. If it is pegged on lean or rich -- well thats a whole different story. But right now it sounds like 02 sensor and / or fuel filter.

well me and one of my chef's hooked up obd2 scanner tool trouble code read mis fire on #1 plug so we cleard the code restarted the car same problem. so we swiched the spark plug wires around and it stopped idleing bad everything back to normal no it don't run like new so i order new set of msd wires and ngk vx plugs as well as thermo tech header wrap to keep all the turbo heat out of the engine. hoppfully when i install yne new plugs /wires it will run even smoother.thanks for all of you who looked at /replyed to this message :thumbsup i love my eclispe and have learned so much from the guys on the fourm hopefully this problem will not return.i also am going to replace my fuel filter this weekend. (concentrating on prevent maint for now) later i do the auto-stick mod.
