33279, F****N rear exhaust

so i'm taking my stock exhuast off today and i have everything disconnected. The rear portion of the exhaust that goes over the suspension (actually it isn't really suspension, more like where the suspension bolts up to) is stuck. The flange on the rear peice is too big to go in between the rear suspension and the body of the car. is there something i'm over looking. I'm really getting pissed off at this thing.

oh, and will having the rear o2 sensor unhooked hurt the cars preformance?

UPDATE:

Well my assumptions where correct. You have to take the left rear wheel off and angle the exhaust towards the hub and it will come out. I just didn't want that to be the case becuase i couldn't find my wheel key and i had to purchase another.

hehe am I the only one that actually had fun taking that out...??? I cut it up with a torch. I wish there was more exhaust to cut, it was fun haha.

Hmm.. was I the only one that didn't have ANY trouble getting the rear section off? Mine just slid right out when I turned the muffler to the side.

No problems on either Jens car or mine, just jacked up the frame like was mentioned earlier, tilted the muffler, and badda bing, it came out.

I beat the shit out of that pipe getting it out. I tend to get a little pissed when things don't go as planned though. I just started yanking and kicking the pipe until it popped out. Just a small dent in the piping ;)
