If you wanted to, how would you remove it? I don't even use it. Thanks

its easily bypassible, without having to remove it. just go to autozone (etc.) and get a 5 ribbed belt around 40" in length. im not sure if thats exact, i just remember that being close. the tensioner will still move inwards enough to tighten the belt between the p/s and the crankshaft pully.

ah good i was wondering about that. i need to get a new AC compressor and from advance it's 500 but from autozone it's 399 new but i would rather have my discount

I want to remove mine. I never use it. Well, I used it about 3 times this summer, so I think I can live without it. This would save weight.
