3275, FARTING!

Could someone please give me the thumbs up or down on this one? My car use to sound sweet but every since I installed my test pipe the car has that ricey fart when I floor it and hit 4000 rpms and beyond and every since I installed my greddy headers it has gotten worse. So my solution, should I put back my old cat converter in? Im pretty sure that it would cure the problem but would I be taking away any hp by doing so? I havent noticed any gains from that thing alone and Im thinking I wil gain more low end power by doing so.

thanks all
