I read the reviews on dsmreviews, but I thought I'd also try to get some input here.

I'm going to be putting an HRC Stage 2 on my car (as soon as the group buy goes through), and don't anticipate upgrading past Stage 3. 90% of my driving is city driving, so I don't want to have to stand on the clutch to change gears...any suggestions?

ACT 2600 seems to get rave reviews, but I'm worried about the increased pedal effort...is it that much? I'm under the impression that ACT 2100 is only good for stock engines. I'm leaning towards centerforce HD dual friction (2500lb clamping force, near-stock pedal effort), but the reviews seem to be less than glowing. Also, I've read of combining a centerforce clutch with ACT street disc. Any opinions on that set-up?

act doesn't make clutches for our cars. go with a clutch master stage 4. It is very easy on the leg

I just ordered a Pro Active Stage 2 modular clutch for my car. It has a heavy clamping force of 65% over stock and an eight puck composite disc. This is suppose to be rated to 250HP over stock. It should be good for slipping(autocross/drag racing), and lost a really long time. So I have been told by our distributor.

It sells from speed shops for $620 plus shipping. It retails for a bit more I believe. I just paid $496 through our national distributor. We could not get clutchmasters and it was either a CM stage 3 or the Stage 2 Pro Active(would not buy centerforce). I was unwilling to pay upwards of $700 for a CM Stage 3 shipped to me from another reseller.

I do not think Pro Active has a site. The company was started by former employees of Clutchmasters and ACT. I figured it was worth a try.

Might also check into RPS Clutches. They might have one for our cars as well. Our distributor dropped them and picked up the Pro Active line instead.
