31998, Car will not start CEL codes 13,14

I need a little help. MY eclipse will not start but it turns over with out a problem. I looked up these codes and have found that they are pointing at the MAP sensor Is there anyway to check this sensor before I go buy a new one, and is there anything else I should check with these codes...

Im sure you can check the resistance across the terminals but Im at work and dont have my chiltons to see what those values should be, I would just check first to make sure its actually plugged in

Well I changed the MAP but with same results any suggestions on what I should check or do ???

might be a bad ECU?
maybe problem with crank/cam sensors

ohhh you wimped out j/k. please report what they find out as to what was the cause, seems to be alot of people lately with troubles starting their car.
