yeah you can use the stock fans if you want. it's a direct bolt on from the stock so it has the same mounting points as the stock one. but if you have the money you can always upgrade to the FAL fans.

Mark,
Use the stock fans. If you go look at Armonds car you can see how it fits with his Fluidyne, stock fans, and S20G just fine. Make sure you order the Fluidyne from RRE.

Yes, the stock fans bolt right up to the Fluidyne like Chris said. I just put mine in about a week ago....it was a little tight going in the car, but she fits. Only took me about 40min. to take the old one out and put the Fluidyne in. Looks and works great :) I'll send you a pic of it in my car because I don't have any online yet.

Really old pics but they'll let you atleast see it fitting in there fine. It is snugger than stock, cause the stock raidiator is tiny compared to the fluidyne.

is it the upper or lower neck of the fluidyne that needs to be modified? i think its the lower ?.. has everyone who has this got it through rre? do you just tell them its for a 2gnt car?... i was wondering since im auto ( for now ) and i do add this later would it matter? because i heard that manuel trannys have a smaller radiator then autos that is stock? so if this is true would it make a difference for auto and manuel users of this radiator? correct me if im wrong

Both the upper and lower hose locations need to be modified. And yes, all you do is tell them it's for a 2gnt, and they know what to do :) It's an extra $40 to have them modify it, but they do a good job. As far as the auto's having a bigger radiator stock?...I have no idea!

the only reason I can think the at radiator would be larger was if the fluid was routed through , like a 3/4 ton truck.

If I bought a Fluidyne, would FaL/Flexalite fans still bolt up after it was modded by RRE? The nice colored ones for turbo cars? Thanks..jd

A/T and M/T radiators should be different because A/T radiators have oil cooler and A/T fluid cooler hoses connected onto the radiator whereas M/T don't.

Yeah, the fans on the autos are thicker than the manual transmission equipped ones.
