i just got my engine rebuilt and put back in the car. i got all the sensors connected, all grounds in place and when i go to start it it cranks bt won't start. i scanned the the ecu no codes thrown, also ran a test on all the sensors and it came back that they are all fine. but i don't get any power to the ignition coil.

i hooked up a a'pexi s-afc and a avc-r before i stated it up to, would this have fried anything in the ecu to make it not start? or could there just be a bad part in the ecu? the scan said that the cu was fine. one of my friends thinks that the when i hooked them up it ight have shorted out the ecu. has anyone ever had this problem or know what i might be over looking? i have went over all the sensor connections a dozen times and they arein the right place and clipped in tight.

if anyone can help i would greatly appreciate any thouhts or ideas.

Check under the hood in the fuse block. I had my main fuse burn out before. The engine will still cramk but it'll never run. The fuse is a big square one. Like 5 bucks at a parts store.

Sounds like the ASD relay. Its located on the firewall, by the brake master cylinder. Its 2 black squares. One is fuel pump relay, other is ASD relay. Cant remember which is which right now though.

The relay is 10 bucks at Discount Auto. Just ask for an AC relay for a 89 Aerostar. :P

Double the Apexi S-AFC connection. I think that's where the problem is. Carefully, retrace the MAP sensor and TP wires going to and from the S-AFC.
