does anybody know if the 1g's head would fit on the 2g's block or is it the other way around. just wanted to know b/c i heard that the 1g's motor is a little bit stronger than the 2g's....

96 rs; intake/exhaust; 4-1 hearders; breathers; aem cam sprockets; unorthodox crank pulley; magnacor wire's w/ ngk plugs; front and rear strut bars; 18" concept 5 rims; sensi front bumper; andy's side skirts and back bumper; combat wing; projector lights; altezza lights w/ custom rev. strobe lights; chamelin paint job; custom interior and ice.

this is for the 4g63 motor ( gst/gsx)... ours are a 420a motor its not the same deal.. but if you where wondering the early 4g63 (1g motor )is stronger well the rod are stronger overall...

yes if you have a 4g63 the the 1g head on your engine will be better because it flows more, also change the intake manifold and tb as well because they flow more too. If you have a non turbo 2nd generation car then it will not work you have a completely different engine, and no it is not easier to convert yours to a 4g63. :)
