I have NEVER been to the track. I am going to Import Wars this saturday up her in good ol' NH. My honda buddies are all racing, so they twisted my arm. I am not expecting to last very long at all but am interested in the education, finally knowing my quarter mile time!! What do you guys think it will roughly be. I am an auto (ugh), with theses basics; 16 inch rims, cold air intake, thermal catback, 8.5mm wires, bkr 5e-11 plugs, ,MSD col pack. Also, how should I adjust my KONIS for the day. I currently have a half turn in the back and a quarter turn up front to stiffen up the rear for launch. I am also thinking of pulling the passenger seat, spare tire, and rear seat for the day as well. Thanks for the input..jd

maybe mid 16s?

With an auto you will be lucky to get mid 16's. I would shoot for ahigh 16 if I were you.

Definitely keep us posted on your time. I'm very interested in how well you do, being an auto myself. I'm guessing you'll be getting high 16s, but if you can get mid 16s, that'd be terrific! good luck!

heh, if i were you i would shoot for mid 17s with the auto. i hit the track the other day with almost your same mods on a full tank of gas and 17s and ran an 18.5...

somethings wrong with your car then cause I hit 18.5 stock

18.5 is VERY slow. I think my friends 4x4 bronco can beat that.

hmm, you were running that stock?

i should do a compression test...

but anyway, if your an RS your stock rims were 14s, which would make a difference.

i was running on 17s, full tank of gas, and 150 lbs of stereo equipment in the trunk.

i thought it was rather slow myself though. i thought from posts ive read that is about right, should it be faster?

Well, I'd be happy with mid 16s. I will keep you guys posted, thanks for the opinions.
