where do i get it, and what EXACTLY does it do and is it worth it ? i have a cut shifter

You know how you shift now with your short shifter and it has a nice feel? Well, the stock bushings are rubber, and they make the shifting feel a bit "spongy". When you get the bushing kit, your shifter will feel more accurate, and it will be more precise. You will feel, and here your shifter going into gear. I got mine at MachV.com. It was $35 for it then, I don't know how much it is now.

oh, also, how hard are they to install ? come with instructions or is there a write up^ ?

They are very EASY to Install. Took me 10 minutes. There is a complete detail instruction included w/ Pictures.

If you can take of your stock shifter, you can do this easily. (You do not need to take of the Stock Shifter to do this though. I'm just using it as an example to show you how easy this Mod is).

If you can take out your center console then you can do the kit, since you have to take out the console to get at the shifter bushings. Its very simple to do. It will make your shifts go into each gear with more precision, and a good "clunk". Takes out a lot of play and sloppiness. Some dont like that, some love it, its up to you, but i very very rarely miss a shift into gear, esp when shifting ultra fast racing at the track or on the streets..I have a cut stock shifter too..

will the bushing kit go on any short shifter for our cars?also whats you guys favoret short shifter .iam looking to get one and need to find a good one.
