Just got the rebuild done tonight....is it normal to smoke...the car has only run for about 15 min so far..but it was still smoking. Not alot but just a faint bit... The car runs perfect BTW. No spits or sputters yet...but then again it has only run for 15 min :)

Depends what you used for assemvlr lube. Another factor is the piston rings have nor seated to the cylinder walls yet. Just after my rering job I bleached out the engine. My fuel system pumped so much fuel that I lost compression. I added a little oil to each cylinder and then refired it. I now have 150 miles on my rebuild. It runs better with every mile I put on it. Your smoking problem will go away. Just give it a few miles and a little time.

Its just all the oil/lubes that are on gaskets etc...Give it a day or so.
