i want to remove my cat and replace it with pipe. i'm not worried about emissions(spelling) because i live in florida and don't have emissions. but will it affect the performance of my car in any bad way??

and a friend told me just to hollow it out and put it back on. incase a cop stops me, i can say i have a cat and muffler.

what should i do??

Hope you don't mind driving around with the dummy light always on. Get an after market cat i.e (Random Tech)
