the transmission holds 2 quarts, and the fluid costs anywhere from $8 to $16 a quart.

actually, it holds a smidget over 2 quarts, so you have to buy 3. mine was $15 a bottle.

it's actually 2.1qt. Are you going to spend another $15 for one tenth of one quart? i'm sure as heck not. Having one tenth less fluid isn't going to hurt anything.

The tranny oil is likw 35 bucks shipped to you 2-3 day from tallahasee mitsubishi...and yes thats 3 quarts

Hey I got about the same prices from the dealerships here at 12 to 16 a quart so i called up redline to see if they could cross it over to something they carry. The chrysler/mitsubishi manual transmission fluid crosses over to redline MTL fluid. It cost me like 7.50 a quart and is a full synthetic where the stuff from the dealership isn't even a blend. I've had it in my car about 8 months now and it shifts much better, especially when your beating it. Put it in and you'll immediately notice the difference.

Wanna see pictures of what happens when redline MTL breaks down in your tranny? I've got an input shaft on the table behinf me with a speed gear welded onto it. he was running redine fluids, the fluids broke down, he hosed his tranny.

Run stock fluid. Anything else you're asking for disaster.

You got the fluid shipped? haz-mat i suppose? or are they shipping it illegally? cause places i called wanted crazy prices to ship it... said it was not worth it cause of haz-mat shipping charges...

Fluids are fine to ship. They will not air ship a pressurized can though, like spray cans, I'm pretty sure they have to ship by truck.

Well since this thread came back up. Mine was $14 per quart from the dealer.

I paid $11 a quart here in orlando.

Ha for once something goes my way. I bought $100 in parts at the dealer and they gave me free, yes FREE, tranny oil. He's like I get it by the barrel. So here; fine by me. And I though the BG shyncroshift was the best but now I guess not.

A dealer giving free mopar tranny fluid? wow, thats some good fortune there, all the dealers around here you could put a piece of coal up their ass and make diamonds all day long.. I just bought some more... 14 a quart... could have ordered it cheaper, but i needed it asap.
