Ok, I’ve got the thing on and all seems to be ok. I get no vibration at idle but I do get a vibration during acceleration. Does this sound about right? Also is it alright to keep it on all the time? Or should I just put it on for the track only?

It's definitely a different feeling that’s for sure. I like how the shifts are lot more smooth now.

u shud shake a lil more at idle, imo.. i do, and my ride does...

it should shake violently above 5k, imo w/the solid mount..

is this the only moount u have? do u run the inserts on the rear??

You should feel some vibration right when you start up the car, and when accelerating. At idle your rear mount is probably absorbing a lot of the vibration. You can leave the mount in all the time, the only reason you might take it out is if the car vibrates too much to be comfortable.

If I had to guess I would say you aren't going to get the same vibration as Vegas or I do or anyone n/a for that matter. Your motor just isn't working as hard since you have the help of boost. (and lower compression if I remember correctly)

How do you figure that? The reason that the solid motor mount helps is it keeps the engine from moving too much inside the engine bay. This helps reduce torque/power loss and controls wheelhop. The less power your car makes, the less the engine is going to move under the hood. If you car is turbocharged, making 350hp, its going to move much more, and much harder than a lightly modded n/a car.

I got both front and back inserts in and the car shakes during idle (and pretty much vibrates loose when I turn the ac on hehe) I really don't notice it when I get on it though. it sure grabs the road now though :thumbsup

Im with whodatt, when people ride in my car that dont know what it is they think the world is coming to an end.

Same here, but mine's always idled a little rough.

I have had mine on for about 2 years and I dont even notice its there.

even when you turn on the AC? At idle I dont notice the vibrations any more, and it smooths out as soon as I touch the gas. When Im at idle and I turn the AC on its like all hell breaks loose. The first time I did it I was scared the airbags were gonna come out and hit me in the face. The dash vibrates enough that the movement is both audible and visible.
