Its prolly BS but you never know. My guess is the guy is putting the max HP for each thing he has like intake I bet he says it gives him 20 hp and 20 hp from exhaust and stuff like that. But test drive it and see for yourself how quick it is, hehe.

the guys that build really fast cars have to live somewhere. You'd be surprised how many fast cars there are in small towns, or your area that nobody really knows about. It could be, but I'd check the mod list, or ask for a dyno pull.

I am assuming its a GS-T or GS-X. And yes, they are capable of 500hp, just tell the guy your taking it to the dyno to see what it lays down if he doesnt already have dyno charts of this monster.

ok i test drove it, i have never driven a car with 500 hp but im comparing it to my roomates 1987 corevette AT and it feels like it has more. he wont dyno says he dosent need to it is a gs-x. what is the difference between the gs-t and gs-x

GS-T is front wheel drive, GSX is all wheel drive.

yea the list is two pages, it says stage III turdo and something about direct port. im new to this so i dont know what all of his mods mean although i do know alot of them. he is askin $25,000 it is a 98 with 51k. looks great

Sounds fishy... almost as if the guy doesn't know what hes talking about. Post the mod list on here and we can tell you what is up.

No one has 500+ HP on our motor so if u look under hood and see that its not a GST or GSX then he is lying. Pretty sure Armondss 400 HP w/ no nitrous and of course Hahns car but he aint selling it and Armond has an Avenger so bleh. If its a GST or GSX he better have a 20G or bigger to get 500 HP. Still to much $ for that car. I wouldn't spend that much $ on a car unless it was a Supra, new EVO or Skyline. I could build a 11 sec Eclipse car w/ less then 10G's including the car.

If he won't dyno it, he has no clue what HP he has, he is just guessing, and I can see that he is guessing to his advantage, hehe. If its a mitsubishi 4g63 engine, then it might have 500hp with the direct port injection. If he has our motor, stage 3 and NOS then he is lying through his teeth. You cant run that hp with a stage 3 setup... you need the accel DFI and other fuel shit if your running that much boost and NOS. Basically, laugh at him. Cause that price is crazy no matter what he has. Take a digital camera w/ you, take a few pics of the engine, body, and interior and post them so we can see this 500hp monster, lol. It better give you a blow job while driving for that kinda $$$. And you know the bank isnt gonna loan you more than 12 grand on a 98, so you'd have to throw down 13 grand in cash as well.

Actually, if you want to get technical, Armond's Avenger has about 480hp. At the crank. If you were going to compare his car's power output versus a factory car, you would go by this number. So, comparing his 480hp Avenger to a 460hp Viper would be sweet :) Also, considering the fact that he cant maintain 30psi to his redline, thats pretty impressive. With a larger turbo, boosting a full 30psi at 7800+rpm, I have no doubt he could make at least 500whp. Then add some Naaaaaaaws. :D

i talked to him and he said he would not give me a copy of his mods list for fear that i would try to make my car like his, what a lame excuse. also when i came home this evening from work the car was moved. it now is sitting back at his house. i think he is a little worried that i will find out something, he was acting all weird about it when i called him. i dunno im gona look into this one though

I really dont have much of a body kit, I think the GS's look good left alone. I have a Stillen front bumper, and stillen wing, stock gs sideskirts, and the aftermarket rear bumpers for our cars have yet to catch my eye so far.
