I just got done checking my compression and hooked everything up and now the check engine light is on. did i do something wrong or is it normal?

Make sure those relays you pulled out are pluged all the way back in. A lot of times people dont get them plugged back in all the way. And what year eclips edo you have? You can do the key dance thing and get a specific CEL code so we can tell whats going on and maybe help you out.

i made sure that everything was pluged back in. i have a 96 talon. how do you do the key dance?

i did the key dance and got 2 codes the first was 12 then 43. i have no idea what these mean. please help

Same thing happened to me, It'll be okay dont panic-recheck everything and reset your ECU by disconnecting the battery,give it a minute or 2 and reconnect, if it comes back then panic

12 is you have disconected the battery in the last 50 key cicles, it's normal. like 55

key dance just wont work for me. it doesnt flash at all.

i guess ill goto autozone.
