29125, Does this look good?

http://www.machv.com/obxpolin.html Its a short ram intake, polished and new, $69. Couldnt a feeder hose from the bumper cut-outs produce the same results as a CAI? Also theres a CF version of that intake for 30 bux more, but I think CF conducts heat like a biatch if my memory is correct.

CF doesn't conduct heat.

Unless it's UV rays were talking about but hey anything black will.

Yeah, look under the hoods of exotic cars, nothing but carbon fiber. Keeps under hood temps down because it doesn't absorb heat.

I remember specifically hearing in F1 last year that David Coultard got blisters on his ass in one race(he's tall) because the car was scraping and the that because CF transfers heat so good that it just went straight up to him since he doesnt have much of a seat as to keep him lower. It may not absorb heat like metal, but it might just transfer it like the heat shield on the shuttle, those things can be put in an oven at a bagillion degrees and handled a couple seconds after being taken out. But anyway back to the main topic, does that sound like a good deal?
