yank your intake, open your t/b butterfly, spray away...
use sum towels to clean up the gunk, but dont leave anything behind (shit from the towel)
or u could just read the can.....
good luck

you are trying to clean you tb? how dirty could it get? if you are referring to the build up on the butterfly, just hit it with some degreaser, other than that... i dont see how dirty it could get.

I'm looking to see if I have to keep the engine running or what.. I dont feel like paying satan a bunch of money to do something that I could obviously do myself... just havent done it before.

I just take mine off and give it a good cleaning (only a couple bolts and sensors), and it can get real dirty, its really gross, the 1st time i took it off there was like 1/8 inch of gunk all over it

i was under the impression that I had to remove the TB and cover sensors and all that using duct tape or something.

Did you block off your EGR or at least disconnect it?
If you didn't then don't bother it will all come back.
If you have-
Remove strut bar (if you vehicle is equiped with one) Remove intake loosen Throttle cable linkage from intake manifold Unbolt two TB bolts **I didn't remove the TB compleatly just enough to clean the back of it** Go to town with carb/TB cleaner (don't worry about sensor they be ok) Reinstall everything in reverse order.
If you going to clean your TB you might as well remove the top half of you intake manifold and clean the whole thing out.
It will take a day but I think it's worth it. Your intake will thank you with a loud phooof every time you tap the throttle hard. Trust me it sounds aggresive. Someone thought Michael_RS97's intake was a BOV!
