From what Ive heard, nobody really knows whether or not they will work or not. Nobody is willing to sacrifice their car in order to test it out. All the connections are suppossedly the same so they will just "bolt up" but no one knows if the programming will work or destroy something

The Mopar ECU will not work for the 2G NT. Even though the engine code is the same, the ECU is made for the Neon engine, tranny, and components.

Well we know the SOHC, DOHC and AFX street and race ECUs will all run a neon DOHC or SOHC 420A which differ more than a 2gnt 420A and a neon DOHC 420A. Then once you start modding those the differences are even more so I dont think its fuel/timing programming thats not compatible (at least on 5sp versions). I'm more worried about if will read the sensors correctly with the head turned in a different direction yet the sensors are in the same location. All the sensors (cam angle, crank angle ect) appear to be the same but the with the intake and exhaust flowing in a different direction something might be out of phase/wack. Might not though, 360 deg of rotation is 360 deg of rotation. I guess we will never know until somebody tries it.

Ok how much do these cost, whats their advertised increase, and couldnt we find a way to fool the ECU if it doesnt work with some of our sensors? TIA
