28255, Crower Cams Camshaft Update
Posted by Michael_97RS, Jul-23-02 02:38 AM
As some of you know I have been working with Crower to get us billet camshafts.

Well they have begun to grind the new billet cams, so they should be available to all very soon. The specs are available at http://www.crower.com

Given suggested retail pricec and what other Crower cams seem to run from places like Summit I would guess a price right on par with what Crane Cams cost.

Nice. It will be interesting to see what they have to say about each other in terms of competition. Whenever I get around to getting cams
I'll prolly get the cranes for their turbo version, but only if there little problem is fixed with properly matchig them to our version of the 420a. I didn't see any "turbo" versions from crower however. Anyone know if crane fixed their problem?

Edit: Why do they both insist on calling the 420a mitsubishi engines? Whatever...

I think they are just distinguishing the powerplant type and not really giving ownership of the motor to Mitsubishi. Note that they also give the motor designation to the 4G63. Just makes life easy.

Does anyone know about how much HP crower's stage 2 cams will add?
