Basically what you do is take the system off (the EGR off the side of the block, and the tube going to the intake manifold). Then you use the two gaskets to make an outline of a block off plate (can be made of just about any metal) drill the holes where the bolts will go through, get shorter bolts with the same thread pattern as the original and some lock washers and you are set. Do the same for the gasket where the pipe connnects to the intake manifold. It is pretty easy.

Yeah that about covers it. I used the Mopar Performance block off kit, so I didn't have to do any cutting of metal, etc. Just some washers on the bolts that go into the head (some day I'll go get shorter bolts for it).
Whodatt, nice picture. :-)

I looked everywhere Kirby, I should have been more detailed... Like that thing thatsticks out of the head...taht has thaat peice of palstic that states "EGR", Do i remove that also? Do i leave the sensor hooked up? Or do i just remove the Tube taht goes to the intake mani?

I just took the EGR pipe out. That is the pipe that goes from the sending unit to the intake. Then I cut some blocking plates out of aluminum to put in its place. This way the EGR valve is still in it's place and I don't get a CEL. The valve still works, but dosen't send any exhaust gas back to the intake manifold.

Unplug the vacuum from the EGR valve and it will never open. I only wish I knew before I ripped the whole thing out.
