I noticed that today on the highway my car is falling apart. First my car is really really loud, I noticed it on the highway. I think it's my exhaust, I'm pretty sure the sound is coming from the mid area of under the car, but something is wrong. I'm hoping it's not anything internal. I'm going to look under the car tomorrow morning, but is there a way I can find out if there is a hole besides looking for one and trying to find it?

Second, when my car is backing up there is a thumping sound every 2 or so seconds. The deep thumping comes in intervals and sounds like its coming from the rear of the car. The sound is there in neutral and in reverse. Again, I hope nothing is majorly fucking up.

My car is a 99 RS with intake and its lowered with wheels on it. Someone please give me some leads.
