It is possible, but the conversion would be extensive and expensive. I believe it to be cost prohibitive, as for what it would cost to pull it off, you could easily add a turbosystem to the 420A and beef up the engine: the result would be superior to a stock 4G63 setup.

Why transplant in an engine with crankwalk potential and a fragile transmission? The 420A driveline has all you need as a foundation. It's a great starting point to work from!

Do you mean...

Getting the T-25 or 14B off the 4G63 and putting that in our car?
If so, goto the ASOG message board, and check out Alain...
He fitted a T-25 into his Avenger (I think he has an Avenger, not sure)...
I would rather get something like a T3 because of low cost, and quick spool up...

But..
If you mean swapping the whole motor out and putting in a 4G63...
You have two choices..
It would be more cost effective to buy a 4G63 powered car...
or, if you still want the 4G63...

But, if its for sentimental reasons, or you just have alot of money...
There is a place in California (even though I'm not), there is a place called "Venus Auto Parts" or something like that...
They sell front clips of cars.. even with JDM motors like the SR20DET and the RB26DETT, the also have JDM 4G63 off Lancers...
Also, try searching the web, there is a place called Infinite Motorsports or if you can't find it.. goto yahoo and type in "JDM engine swaps" and you'll find it there...

P.S. I really wish I had more stars next to my name *hint* *hint*
:-)

If you need more help, just tell me...

Peace

like everyone else said before.. probably will be more worth your money to just build up the 420A and boost it... but hell, if you got the money do it! haha.. i wouldnt mind seeing someone doing the swap...

oh yea... taco, why do you keep asking for stars? is there some prize you get for more stars? am i missing something here? many people have been flamed for asking for them, so id suggest that you stop asking.

Correction here I do have an Avenger but my turbo project
is all about a IHI RHB-52 pulled from a T-Bird turbo 1988
i could in a very near however put my hand a Garrett VNT :)

And yes I fitted a T-25, a 14B and a few other turbos on my car
for the purpose of doing a turbomanifold for a customer

BTW I support Kevin works but I still think that spending so much money in a custom turbo project just to put a tiny T-25 is not worth it, spend $200 more and get a real nice turbo
