27086, Rev Limiting problem

Hey Im a 97 manual RS with some mods. Yesterday I replace my intake manifold because it was cracked. I bought a junkyard one, cleaned it up, and even used my original sensors because I didnt want to take any chances. I finally get it to crank up today (had Idle problem, I forgot to plug a sensor in oops) and Idles beautifully, and my exhaust sounds better than it has in long time, and drives great. Then about thirty minutes later, I went to drive again, it started whistling, not badly but very annoyingly, and I got a rev limiter at 4k rpm, considering my powerband starts there, that sucks. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas for me. thanks By the way, Im thinking it might still be one of my sensors, which should I check, thanks.
