2689, Cam for sale

It turns out my intake cam shaft is a little to "lobey" for my turbo application. I had it made back when I was NA. I'm taking it out and putting in my GUDE turbo camshaft in on Monday. So if anybody wants an NA grind Crower intake camshaft I'll let it go for 100.00. Stock cams at the dealer cost 198.00 plus tax just fyi. This is just the INTAKE camshaft.. remember.. the dodge Neon is rated at 150hp vs. our 140hp due to a more aggressive intake cam. And if you have adjustable cam gears.. now is your chance to tune a true race cam. I need to find the slip crower gave me that had the lift and duration on it. I'll post that when I find it.

...actually pulls more timing from it's special PCM with similar cam grinds as us. We benefit from a better torque curve on 87octane. The 2GNT actually has the better 420a and we never got stuck with some of those special plastic intake manifolds. I would like to buy your cam but I just bought some crower blank custom grinds from Eric. $100 sounds like a good deal do you have any other specific specs (is there too much valve overlap)

Where are you located at and how would one pay for this if they wanted it? Please do post the specs on it when you get them. What would shipping cost for one cam shaft also?

About price.. to be honest, crower only charges 40.00 per cam to add material to your cam lobes and shape them to specs for higher lift and duration. They can give you the same specification as gude without charging you the 400 dollars they do. the reason I'm charging 100.00 for this cam is because it is a cam I had bought stock and had it reground for race purposes. if you buy this from me, you will have the convenience of keeping your stock cam to swap in and out when smog time comes. It's gonna be ready to ship tomorrow.. If you want it let me know. What do you guys think this would pull on Ebay?

...float is caused by weak valve springs when the valve springs lose their closing efficiency, I mean specific valve overlap(how long intake and exhaust are open simultaneously). It can be a good thing but not for turbos. Like the drag cams have crazy overlap which sucks out compression. That's the reason they tell you to raise compression a point or 3. Or if you have lift, that would help. I'd like something more than the cams I just bought. Your intake might help me out

I can't find the slip with the lift and duration specs. Crower keeps these on file. It's been awhile though.. but I'm gonna give them a call tomorrow to find out.
