26763, Compression on used engine

I'm worried, I've got a used engine going into the GS on monday. It was very assuring though to be guaranteed that there is 195-200 psi on all 4 cylinders.

Isn't the stock compression like 175 or so? I heard from a friend that abnormally high compression could be one of 3 things:

1. Burnt fuel deposits collected on top of the pistons.

2. Aftermarket pistons and rings.

3. Leaking valve seals that allow oil into the combustion chamber.

Let me know what you guys think.

a brand new 420a eclipse engine should get numbers of about 215.. so if they are garunteeing 195-205.. i say it's a good engine.
