is there any webpages that give direction on how to build and install a PVC cold-air intake? i saw one here but the pictures didnt work. pictures are a BIG help ;) thanks

well im not sure were alse to get the pics but honestly you dont really neeeeed the pics. it does help a little but it is fairly easy. jes buy 2 pvc elbow, 2 feet of straightpiping, and some rubber cement. then jes measure and cut. o yea and a filter of course. the measurments should be on that page.

Dont make a PVC ANYTHING INSIDE YOUR ENGINE. I have been studing the rapid expansion of PVC and ABS latley. I make combustion powered spdu guns" potato guns" ...may sound funny but if you just when how tightly packed the molecules get and after the compaction takes place it lets of OXidizing gases....DONT DO IT.... I would.

I agree, don't use PVC in any place where it will be exposed to extreme heat. I think the engine bay classifies as extreme heat. PVC stands for PolyVinylChloride. When it decomposes it releases Chlorine gas, which was the first toxic gas used in war. Just buy a cheap tube off e-bay or some other place and buy a K&N filter. I though I had seen the short tubes by themselves selling on e-bay for like $10.

Yea they are right, I personally work with PVC on a daily basis and you dont want to risk getting those fumes ANYWEHERE near you!
