I got a deal through my uncle who gets me 20% off wholesale on anything i want to get me an entire exhaust (headers, highflow cat, catback) for $600. It is a really good deal but the muffler has a 5" tip. The guy who my uncle talked to says that it isnt loud but is a real deep tone. I dont know, i could always just hack that muff :) off and put on my own correct? The piping is 2.5" all the way back btw. TIA!

Yeah you can cut off the muffler and get any other one welded on. Or, you can also cut off the tip and weld on another tip in most cases too. I would try it out and see if you like it, then decide...

LMAO, this is now become our own stereo type. Every one is worried that they will look "ricey". Who cares. Drive the car because you like it, not someone else. I have both sides of the spectrum, Domestic and Import and I like the sound of a nasty V8 but I don't think that a 5 inch tip on an import is bad either. If it matches the rest of the car, go for it. I like a farting sound almost as much as a V8 sound. Just not on a purple Ford Escort 4 door with a combat wing, that is gay(just saw one drive by).

You should go ahead and get the exhaust and if you dont like it sell it to someone else.

Also i am also from Overland Park area we should hook up sometime, i thought i was the only one with a 2gnt in the area that new about the board.

I have pacesetter and my own brand :" muffler"...since it doesnt really muffle anything it really isnt a muffler. but the blitz Nur spec is awesome...thats my next venture....after 8 Inj setup,Veilside front bumper, FIMC setup, AEM cam gears....well u got the point

well thats just the thing, since i wrecked my car the insurance company just gave me a check for $6300. I spent the first 300 fixing it and now i have 6000 left over. My dad wrecked my car again, so 1500 of that went to rims. $4500 and my dad is using it to buy a hydraulic lift so i guess i will get some use out of that! the $600 is coming out of that wreck fund.
