The OEM fluid is a specific blend just for that transaxle... Has certain additives for the syncro's n' sh!t... Others might be using another fluid, and some may be doing fine now, but it'll come back in bite you in the ass later down the road. | |

Drain plug on bottom easy to find, fill hole is on the driver sid kinda up under the fender well, not hard to find either... might wanna use a hose connected to it to get it in easier. Trust me, use the right fluid, cause the previous owner of my car must have used the wrong fluid, they did a clutch install the week before I bought it, and I drove on it for over a year cause I didnt think nothing about it, but it sucks when it started pulling forward in neutral cause the 3rd gear roller bearing was welded to the shaft. Bye bye tranny.. | |
