Well I finally got my ported intake manni on!! dezam thats all i gotta say. its ported to match my overbored TB. HUGE HUGE HUGE GAIN!!!! i can not say enough about this.. porting is where its at! i hope to be running high 15s :) Third gear is insane!!

I was thinking of having that done. What size did you do eveything in?

who did you get it done with. also is it just the ends and the begginings of the runners or the lenght of the runners as well.

Everything is gasket matched. its not the entire runners just the begining of them. then i took my dremal and went a little firther back... I did not port my intake manni witha dremal.. A buddy of mine here in Columbus did it for me at a machine shop. Get it done for real its the best thing i have done yet!

for those of us who aren't as mechanically savvy, where can we get this done? Would howell do it? Any ideas on cost?

I dont see why howell would not do it? i paid 180 for everything.. that being another intake manni and the port work... sooo i have a spare one i might just be putting on ebay.. NO down time..

im doing mine with a dremel. take that thing off, fire up the air compressor and get down to business. should take a few hours to do a nice job. then ill polish it, and the throttle body. i was wondering how big of a difference porting the intake manifold would really make, im glad to see that it can show a power increase, even while still being n/a.

i just curious, i am planning on having the entire intake, from the tb all the way to the block bored, is it worth it and what power levels do you think i could get? I have a intake and a exhaust system along with a 75 shot of nos. What knd of times ad power you think ill be lookin at. Also i plan on upgrading the injectors, nothing big, just 20% flow improve over stock, think that will increase power any? I dont want to buy a bigger fuel pump yet, all this machine work and injectors are gonna set me back about 400 bux!

the porting will help w/use of any type of forced induction (your case, nitrous)

i dont think that bigger injectors would help you as much as an upgraded fuel pump... our stock injectors get maxd out when boostin at around 8-12lbs...

do the portin first, and look in the nitrous section about more fuel with more juice, and know that our stock internals cant take much more than a 75 shot b4 causin bad damage to valves/pistons...
