1) I have a Corbin Intake manifild spacer... has anybody ever installed one? How did it turn out? Did you notice any gains of any kind?

2) Besides gaskets and a good set of tools... anything I need to install the P&P intake manifold?

3) I've heard several conflicting points to blocking off the egr... what are the + and - to blocking off the egr.
Plusses:
- No gummed up intake tract
Minuses:
- Cooler combustion chambers
- Fewer gas pump bills
- Weird Idle
- Check Engine Light

4) Besides motor mount inserts - anything I should install while I have the intake manifold off???

How did it turn out? Did you notice any gains of any kind?
it went well, i installed a P&P manifold as well as the spacer, and cleaned it out really well... gains were definately noticeable, revs cum up a lil faster.. helps in the upper rpm range, she pulls all the way to redline (instead of loosin power, or flattenin out at 6500+rpms)..... the third gear pull is stonger..

helped w/combo of udp, bored t/b and intake...

2 gaskets, 3 if u wanna yank off your t/b nuthin special, openended metric wrenches, small ones, are needed for that dam alt bolt when yankin the bottom plenum
i use white hockey tape to label things off, and sketched on paper when i wanted to be sure of connections...
o, and lotsa extensions... the higher the front end is off the ground, the better... a good light too will be helpful for when your down under... chiltons will help, and if you have cruise control, have fun w/that black box ....

Plusses:
- No gummed up intake tract...uhuh


Minuses:
- Cooler combustion chambers.... a plus, colder air is denser, leadin to a more powerful explosion

- Fewer gas pump bills.... i dunno about that too much, if u are WOT all the time, u get bad mileage, if your on the highway cruisin, u get good mileage

- Weird Idle.... maybe if you have a leak, i didnt get one...

- Check Engine Light...ya, code 401...dunno the key dance, maybe code 32... i have heard u can connect sum vacuum hose together, but i dun mind.. mine comes and goes, and autozone sees me whenever i get it, just to be sure...

if u dun have a bored t/b, hook that up as well... might wanna port the mani w/a dremel (if your not sendin one off already to get ported)...
