It's screaming cuz your such a hottie...My car screamed because my timing/AC/alternator belts weren't tight. You'll probably have to locate where the screaming is coming from before anybody else can get more specific.

hehhehe Trish...you are sooo dirty :P seriously, isn't it suppose to scream at full throttle.

Not my car... Muffler is too loud to hear anything.... But this is a distiguishing sound never heard it before.... like a whining/screaming like its in pain... when i slowly accelerate its ok, only when i punch it screams...

Might be water pump. Mine whined when it was going out. How many miles on your car ?

sounds like the belts you may want to check those do you have the afx udp

Nice graphix......anyway it sound like your belts check the tension...from what you describe passenger side under the hood...
The accessory tension screw is next to the tension pulley and the alt tenson screw is under the car on top of the alternator. Remember to loosen up lock nuts first........good luck

Yeah could be water pump but I would start with checking your belts for any glazing or cracking, and then check the tension on them before you go and get a water pump.

Of course could always change the pulley and then you would have new belts and more HP... best of both worlds.

Hmm I believe when I over tightened my accesory belt the tension pulley gave off a screamy whine. Sounded cool like a turbo, but I had no turbo then and it scared the hell outta me. Try spraying some belt dressing on the tension pulley and see if that helps. Won't hurt to check. I gotta get mine replaced because I overtightened it. Check to see if your belts have any slack in it too. Now sure if this is the problem though. Nice graphics, same color as my ride (that wierd green), does it look black at night?

I would bank on it being the belts as this is pretty common with our cars. I have had this problem from time to time and it is just belts slipping.
