25790, who has the Corbin Intake manifold insulator? Posted by pn0ymahal, Jun-22-02 05:35 PM
well i was wondering who has one, and how they like it if so? i also believe you dont need a gasket in this location anymore?..all we got to do is remove the upper manifold part with tb and thats it right?

i got one, and you do need two new gaskets to sandwich the spacer, or to be between the spacer on both sides...
it definately helps a lil, especially after drivin for awhile (no more heat soak/transfer)
the only thing i dont like about it is that i can tuse my strut bar cuz it smaks the top of the t/b when shiftin, and at high rpms...i still run the nuespeed bar, and just have to dremel out the mountin bracket of my other strut bar so that i can swap it around...
and ya, install is pretty easy... yank the upper plenum and slap her on....
good luck
